Katlyne Aubuchon
Experience: This is my first year back at WOL after serving as a classroom aide for 10 years. Previously, I have also served at Our Savior Lutheran School (Fenton) – 1 year teaching 3rd & 4th; 1 year teaching Kindergarten (2024-2026)
Education: Masters in Education (University of Missouri St. Louis) Bachelors in Elementary Education (University of Missouri St. Louis)
Personal Education Philosophy: My teaching philosophy is centered in the belief that every child is uniquely created by God. I strive to create a caring, Christ centered classroom where students feel safe, respected, and feel motivated to learn.
Classroom Goals: My goal is to encourage students to understand that learning is a life long process that extends beyond the classroom. My hope is to teach students how to be responsible and compassionate to those around them. Most importantly, I want students to know they are loved by God and He will guide them throughout their life.
Interests: I enjoy spending time with my family and my two dogs. I love sitting out on my deck and reading a good book!
Favorite Bible Verse: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
